What the course covers:
This class suits students whose Chinese foundation is already solid.
This class runs four sessions a month, and covers:
- Writing technique across every form
- Technique for opening and closing an essay
- Expanding sentences so the content has substance
- Refining sentences, and writing genuinely good ones
- Using rhetorical devices, idioms and well-known quotations
- Practice in structuring an argument
About Teacher Wong
- Graduate of the Chinese Studies department, Universiti Malaya (UM)
- Over 10 years of teaching experience
- Certified International Chinese Language Teacher
- Former form teacher in both primary and Independent Chinese secondary schools,having taught over 1,000 students
*This course comes in two formats: live class + replay, or replay only (no live attendance). Please choose the month and the format you want when you sign up.
Live class + replay:
Four sessions a month; there is normally no class in the fifth week.
Any make-up class is scheduled in the fifth week.
Replay only:
Four replays a month, plus notes.
Request the video and notes each week; students watch the replay whenever it suits them.
Composition classes require homework to be submitted weekly for marking. Students can WhatsApp the teacher with any questions.
Every course includes a free trial lesson, and composition classes include marking.
